This is an original 1953 color print of 19th century Russian and Ukrainian embroidery patterns. The originals of numbers 1-5 and 7-10 were held in the Central Museum for Ethnology in Moscow, while the original of number 6 was held in the Home Industry Museum in Moscow.

2. Fabric blanket section, native to Bessarabia, Russia.

3. Woman's shirt wool embroidery, native to Podolia, Ukraine.

4., and 8.-10. Cotton and wool embroidery on towels, native to Podolia, Ukraine.

5. Woven satchel with fringes, native to Bessarabia, Russia.

6. Ukrainian embroidery from the hem of a priest's frock (robe).

7. Woman's skirt fabric, native to Poltava, Ukraine.
